it is advisable, since not all user can English, an interruption with longer texts written in English in different threads leads easily to the disruption and confusion in the German texts.
a / e moderator / in should be found, serious interested parties should register with the administrator....
If someone wants to answer a thread shouldn´t he answer in this thread? It´s not logical to have to switch to the English-forum to do so - I have to side with Fee - there are several online-translator available (google, babelfish, leo ...).
how and with what it is translated does not matter .. It is only an aid for those who can not speak English. anyone can open up a new theme, this serves only the introduction.
Sure it is, but most get along with forming rudimentary sentences (with a little help from dictionarys at least) - but first they have to understand what was said and for that the Abachos of this world are a great help. Any foreign language is learned by practice - school can only build the basic knowledge.
simple word-training / education kit is already useful to bring automatic translation Translation at the back really confusing grammar out .... But it helps if there is no alternative.
I´ve always difficulties with the english names for our Schecken. Ok - tobiano and pinto is always an alternative, but what about skewbald, spotted, mottled, dappled and piebald?
Ok - dappled is more like our geäpfelt - spotted, I think, stands for Knabstrupper - but what about the rest?
Skewbald is braunschecke Piebald is rappschecke Dappled is normally to describe a grey horse but you can get other colours with dapples (geäpfelt) Mottled???hmm dont know if this is used for horses Spotted is spotted, doesnt necessarily mean knabstrupper, could be a pony or appaloosa or any horse with spots...as far as i know anyway!!:-))
